The Dream
We are dedicated to working towards advanced AI technologies that produce more natural responses. Our original goal, conceived in January of 2023, was to develop a text-to-text model capable of producing natural responses and maintaing a conversation with the user. This idea sparked all of the proceeding work.
Significant Challenges
When we began our work towards a text-to-text model, LLMs had already been created and were becoming stronger very rapidly. However, our goal was not to do what had already been done. We want to create conversational AI that can be trained locally, in memory-constrained enviroments, producing results that compete with LLMs of today and tomorrow.
Our Journey
- January 2023: Our first text based AI model trains and passes validation tests.
- Mid 2023: Exploration with RNNs and Transformers for text processing
- Fall 2024: Launch of TensorKit for Swift
- Spring 2025: An unreleased version of TensorKit outperforms competing Tensor frameworks
- Fall 2025: The new Nectralyx website is developed.
